Bridget's first visit to an irish pub

Today was another hot day for our Irish lass. We had planned on running the Rye derby with Bridget in tow.  After hearing the forecast, we instead decided to be spectators.  We went for a short visit to the Derby hoping to catch up with some of my running friends and their babies.  The heat was sweltering - 89 degrees so we left after a short visit.  We spent the afternoon taking a family nap and then Chris went to buy an air conditioning unit for Bridget's room. What a good daddy!!
Later today we met several friends from my running group at a new irish pub to celebrate their races. I think Chris and I were just celebrating getting out to dinner!!
It was Bridget's first visit to an irish pub and she loved it.  It is a good sized place with outdoor patios, a great menu and a large bar area.  Although the  pub has only been open 10 days, it was packed. - Great sign in this economy!
Bridget loved looking around at all of the people talking and eating  and since it was fairly loud, when she did fuss since it was close to her bedtime, no one could hear..  perfect..   I'm sure we will be back for more dinners at that pub. YAY!
